Meet Dr. Fred - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Fred grew up in Greenwood, Mississippi. Through experience and some Southern charm, he is relatable regardless of age. He creates a calming environment that leaves him an endearing favorite with children.

Dr. Fred graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. He then received his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology/Biochemistry from Meharry Medical College specializing in lung cancer research. Dr. Fred received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to complete a one-year dental residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center; followed by two-year pediatric specialty training at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

In his spare time, Dr. Fred enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, playing blues guitar, traveling, enjoying spicy foods, working out, watching sports, and playing tennis.
